Find the rank

On the product page, note the Best Sellers Rank and the main category next to it.

Open the tab

Go to that marketplace's tab and find the category row.

Read across

Find the nearest rank column for the estimated monthly units. Between columns, the figure sits between the two.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly do I get?

One read-only Excel file containing every marketplace, every category and every rank point we have, as estimated monthly unit sales, licensed to you by name. You download it once, straight after payment, on this site. It is not sent by email, so save it as soon as it arrives.

How accurate are the estimates?

They are modelled estimates, not Amazon's own sales figures, and they are not guaranteed. Real sales at a given rank vary with season, price, stock, promotions and how fast the rank is moving. Use them to compare and shortlist, then confirm with your own research.

Is this Amazon data?

No. Amazon does not publish sales by rank. The figures are estimates compiled independently. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Amazon.

Do the figures cover all sellers on a listing?

Yes. Each estimate is total units for the product at that rank across every seller. Your own share depends on how many sellers there are and how often you win the Buy Box.

Main category or sub-category rank?

The main (root) category rank. Sub-category ranks are much smaller numbers and would give misleadingly high figures.

Can I get a refund?

It is digital content supplied straight away, so the usual 14-day cancellation right ends once the download is made available, as you agree at checkout. If the file is faulty or will not download, contact us and we will fix it or refund you. See the Terms.

Can I share or resell the file?

No. The licence is for your own use and your own business only.
